After years of dealing with universal-fit floor mats that never stayed in place and would slide forward preventing me from fully depressing the clutch, I finally sprung for a set of WeatherTech mats. The material is a little thinner than I expected, but they fit nicely and don’t move around. In retrospect, I wish I bought decent mats and other accessories when I bought the car, but hey, live and learn.

I’ve owned Weathertech products and have been happy with them, however somewhere along the line they got very expensive. I’ve bought equal quality OEM (Ford Focus , Toyota Tacoma ) mats for much less.

I’m jealous. WeatherTech doesn’t make model-specific floor mats for my car (which is a

95, but the same interior was in use up through 2004). C’mon, it’s not
that
old!

Currently on the fence between Weathertech and Husky for my new Tacoma... Have have Weathertech several times in the past, might try Husky this go-around.

I always install Weathertechs. Currently have them in 3 of the fleet. The only thing I don’t like about them is the giant Weathertech logo.
PS, you’re missing a trim panel.

Oh, I'm missing a shifter bezel and the glove box as well. Most of the parts are in my living room, but I haven't finished the audio install yet.

Love the WeatherTechs, I’ve had them in my last three vehicles. Cool thing is I’ve got them in group buys on the vehicle specific forums for decent prices too, and when I’ve sold the previous vehicles, sold each set easily for $100 on CL.
On the FoST, and then on my Tacoma, I’ve even replaced the gel dome stickers. The FoST ones had an ST sticker available, and the Tacoma ones I snagged some stickers that have the TRD Sport logo. I’m sure they’re good for 10hp each.

I have the Husky’s for my Taco. The only issue I don’t like is how the mat meets the vertical trim panel on the exterior panel, both driver’s side and passenger. Also, Weathertech didn’t make manual compatible mats at the time, so your decision may be made for you.

Love the weather techs, but I’ve actually worn a heel hole through the top layer of mine and they are less than 2 years in the car, and less than 20k miles worth of wear. Kind of a bummer, but otherwise I’m happy with them.

Another one for you is maxpider, they look a lot like the weathertechs. I’m going to try a set for my pacifica when my MIL gets her pacifica, then I can give her my mopar rubber mats that are currently in my pacifica. weathertechs weren’t out for my van when we bought it, and I had to get mats, so i did the mopar ones, not a big fan.

That’s what I’m afraid of. But it seems that the stock carpet mats fit nicely inside of the WTs. If I can find a spare set, I’m almost tempted to put those inside during dry months. Or maybe just use some strong double stick tape to put in part of the old mats where wear may occur. OK, this is getting silly now - I want to protect my carpet as well as the expensive mats with even more mats...

Yeah, i wouldn’t be too worried about it. I let mine get way too dirty and never cleaned them in the winter, they were white with salt residue. I’m going to reach out to weathertech too, but I can’t be too upset. If it gets too bad, I’ll add a layer of something to cover the bad spot.

Then again, I’m only driving about 5,000 miles/year instead of the 15,000 I used to drive, so perhaps mine will last longer than I think. We don’t get a whole lot of snowy days around here, at least not in the last three years or so, so salt shouldn’t be too much of an issue, I hope.
Let me know what the manufacturer says about yours. I suspect that they’ll handle things better than if you had some generic Chinese mats, or in my case, Goodyear trim-to-fits from Costco.

Looks like they do now - https://www.weathertech.com/toyota/2018/tacoma/floorliner-digitalfit/toyota-tacoma-cab/double-cab/tacoma-transmission/manual/

Weird, mine have pretty much zero wear after 50k
